Changing the Face of Medicine: Celebrating America's Women Physicians
U-M's Office of Medical Student Education is hosting an exhibit, “Changing the Face of Medicine: Celebrating America's Women Physicians." Along with the exhibit, which opened August 30th in the Biomedical Science Research Building (BSRB), U-M will host a September 7th performance of “A Lady Alone.” The one-woman play tells the story of Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to graduate from medical school. The play will be performed at 4:30 p.m. in the BSRB auditorium, followed by a reception and then a repeat performance at 6:30 p.m. The performances and exhibit are free and open to the public.
