Meet at the Union steps on the same date and hour of JFK's speech to 5,000 assembled U-M students. The program will include audio of the future President's remarks, performance art, and comments by some of the individuals who were at those steps in the early morning hours of October 14, 1960. Special guest speakers include Dr. Alan Guskin, student leader in 1960 who with others advocated for the creation of the Peace Corps; Steven Weinberg, current U-M student and founder of "Will Work for Food."
