This social and political activist, author and politician was editor of the Michigan Daily in 1960 and supported the students who were working for the creation of the Peace Corps. Later, he became active in the civil rights movement and was one of the founders of the student activist group Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). Mr. Tom Hayden will discuss student activism in the 1960s compared with student activism today.
