How to Publish Your Book: Everything You Wanted to Know but Were Afraid to Ask

In this talk, Bauerle will address graduate students and early career scholars on the ins and outs of publishing one’s work in book format, including the dissertation-to-book process. There will be ample time for Q & A as part of this presentation. 
 
Ellen Bauerle is the Acquiring Editor for African Studies, Classics and Archaeology, Medieval Studies, and Early Modern History at the University of Michigan Press. Dr. Bauerle received her PhD in Classics from the University of Michigan and has worked at University of Michigan Press for almost twenty years. In the field of African Studies, she works on the book series African Perspectives; she has also handled other areas such as digital studies, history in general, and foreign language pedagogy.
