Generation Startup: Learning to Fail. Redefining Success.
The film Generation Startup captures the struggles and triumphs of six recent college graduates who put everything on the line to build startups in Detroit. The documentary (about 90 minutes) will be followed by a discussion about the film and the issues it raises about entrepreneurship and cities, particularly in regard to Detroit. It will appeal to students and faculty interested in entrepreneurship, cities, urban development, business, sociology, film studies, and more.
