Doors open at 8:30, and the event starts PROMPTLY at 9pm.
Cost is $5 per person.
There is an OPEN MIC session from 9-9:30pm where poets showcase their skills without being judged.
The SLAM is a competition wherein 7 poets have 3 minutes to give the crowd their best work. The winner of the slam will be photographed, automatically entered into the GRAND SLAM, and will receive a special prize!
From 10:15-11pm, there will be a featured poet!
