Scorpions: Battles and Triumphs
FDR's Great Supreme Court Justices

Building on the OLLI lecture series, we'll read and discuss the title book by Noah Feldman. The four Supreme Court Justices, Felix Frankfurter, William Douglas, Hugo Black and Robert Jackson, were all brilliant, came from humble backgrounds and did not like each other. They served during the great depression, World War II and the Cold War, and had a great influence on the law. Please read through the first 60 pages of the book for the first session. Volunteers will be sought to facilitate the course after the first session. Instructor: Ann Tomlanovich. This class for adults over 50 meets Wednesdays through April 12th.
