Imagine this scenario – University of Michigan students and residents of the surrounding towns have been exposed to virulent pathogen, m. puckavivens. Investigators have announced that the outbreak is in a state of emergency! Exposed individuals can become infectious and will eventually TURN INTO ZOMBIES!

What can YOU do? The University of Michigan health professions schools, in partnership with the Center for Interprofessional Education, Washtenaw County Public Health, and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, are holding a hands-on public health exercise centered around containing the outbreak of the pretend m. puckavivens. Come learn how to manage a public health crisis alongside public health practitioners and students from the University of Michigan Schools of Public Health, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Social Work. Take on different roles as you triage patients, distribute 'medication' and supplies, and defend the clinic against zombies!
