The U-M Department of Dance Freshman Touring Company (FTC) has a 30-year tradition of performing in the Ann Arbor community. This 2017 season opening performance features work by New York choreographer and U-M dance alumnus Michael Phillips, U-M dance faculty Missy Beck, Robin Wilson, and student choreographers Dee Dee Fattore and Yoshiko Iwai. Directed by Associate Professor Robin Wilson, the FTC is a central part of the curriculum of all first-year dance majors.
