With every administration change, there is a loss of digital content due to the lack of a comprehensive strategy for preserving digital information. Are you curious about what you can do preserve this data? Justin Schell, Director of the Shapiro Design Lab at the University of Michigan Library will talk about the recent A2DataRescue effort, which is part of the national Data Refuge project. He will discuss the background and importance of the project, common tools and techniques used at the Ann Arbor event and others around the country, and how it fits into the larger impact of Data Refuge.
