Explore the architecture of Irving and Allen Pond, U-M alumni and architects of the Michigan Union and Michigan League, in this interactive two-building tour. We will begin at the Michigan Union before making our way across central campus to the Michigan League. The tour will include a discussion of the Pond Brothers’ unique architectural design, explore the similarities and differences in design of the two facilities, and celebrate these iconic facilities as focal points for campus.

• While this tour is ADA-accessible, it will include a walking portion from the Michigan Union to the Michigan League (911 N. University Ave.).
• Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.

Please submit a separate registration form for each person planning to attend the tour so that we may plan accordingly. For registration information as well as further tour information, please visit our A-maizing Building Tours webpage.

Registered guests should check in at the Willis Ward Lounge, located on the main floor of the Michigan Union. The tour will conclude at the Michigan League.

Guests may use the metered parking spaces along South State Street for an hourly fee. Additionally, public parking is available in the W5 lot behind the LS&A Building, the W13 lot behind the Student Activities Building, and in the Maynard Street Structure.
