Girls Who Code Club and Electronic Music Programming with the University of Michigan Department of Performing Arts Technology
Limited to Girls Who Code club members.
Hosted by the University of Michigan Department of Performing Arts Technology in the School of Music, Theatre and Dance, this workshop will provide a hands-on introduction to Gibber, a free, lightweight, accessible programming language for making live electronic music. Participants will be guided through the basics of composing music in real-time with code, after which they will be able to unleash their own creativity. The workshop will be led by current students in the Performing Arts Technology program.
No musical experience is required.
