2017 Advising Conference
LSA Student Academic Affairs is pleased to host the 16th annual Conference on Undergraduate Academic Advising. The conference provides colleagues across the campuses, including both UM−Dearborn and UM−Flint, an opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest. All sessions will be held in the Michigan League with a heart-healthy breakfast available in the morning and a catered lunch.
The conference will begin in the Michigan League Ballroom with opening remarks by Esrold Nurse, Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Education and Executive Director of the Newnan LSA Academic Advising Center, followed by our keynote speaker Dr. Angela D. Dillard, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education at in the College of LSA at the University of Michigan.
After two 75-minute breakout sessions, lunch will be served in the Michigan League Ballroom; after lunch we will have a third 75-minute breakout session. Detailed information can be found on the conference schedule.
Advisors, faculty, and administrators from all units of the Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint campuses are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please join us as we learn more about advising practices and available campus resources to help students, staff, and faculty connect in inclusive and engaged ways.
