This keynote address, “Teaching Graeco-Roman Egypt to a Broader Audience: The Legacy of Traianos Gagos,” by Roger Bagnall (New York University, Director of the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World, President of the Association Internationale de Papyrologues) will celebrate and commemorate the extensive work of Traianos Gagos, University of Michigan Professor of Papyrology and Greek and archivist for the U-M Library's papyrus collection. Dr. Gagos passed away suddenly this year at the age of 49.
