Stocks - Selection and Evaluation
This course is designed to explore active stock investing strategies using your computer. Topics include: financing your retirement; will/do you have enough money (using online calculators); why time is your friend; financial advisors; which stock (or group of stocks) is most likely to meet your objectives?
A prerequisite for this course for those 50 and above is to be an active stock investor. We will utilize various sources of information such as Value Line, Morningstar, Better Investing, S&P, and other stock related websites.
Participants should have a basic working knowledge of various types of investments. We do not intend to cover basic investing questions.
Instructors Robert Shaw and Dale Brandenburg are active investors each having more than 15 years of experience. They will lead these 90 minute sessions on Mondays from October 30 through December 4.
