So much controversy has been in the news about voter fraud, election rigging, and ballot tampering that it makes us wonder why we should bother to vote. For almost twenty years Howard Scheps hired and trained thousands of frontline election workers for the City’s polling places, absent-voter count boards, receiving boards and other election positions.

He tells us firsthand the practices, policies, laws, checks, and balances that are in
place at the local and state level to ensure and protect your right to vote.

A trained economist, Mr. Scheps worked on Wall Street, in the Federal Government and General Motors Corporation headquarters before serving as an Election Specialist for the City of Ann Arbor.
