Get involved with student-run theatre on campus and join Rude Mechanicals! We need people of all talents to join our productions, whether you are an actor, stage manager, marketer, run crew, designer, or are just doing theatre for the first time.

Rude Mechanicals is the only student theatre organization on the University of Michigan Campus that offers students of all majors an opportunity to work on a full-scale production. Founded in 1996 by two engineers, Michael Newberry and Christopher Ritchie, Rude Mechanicals has been producing a staged, non-musical theatre production each semester.
