Come meet employers from a variety of industries who hire PhD students for various roles in their organizations! Professionals from ProQuest, Llamasoft, American Institutes for Research, Akuna Capital, and more will be attending. This event will start with a brief overview of networking, including its purpose, how to think about it and how to do it,along with a review of possible conversation starters. Then we'll open itup for students to network with the employers/recruiters in attendance. The objective is for students to learn about the value of networking and get some practice doing it through interacting with professionals. Light food and beverages will be provided.
