Info Session: NIH Postbac Intramural Research Training Award
The NIH Postbac Intramural Research Training Award provides recent college graduates who are planning to apply to graduate or professional (medical/dental/pharmacy/nursing/veterinary, etc.) school an opportunity to spend one or two years performing full-time research at the NIH. Projects in various fields are located on the main campus in Bethesda, MD as well as in Baltimore and Frederick, MD; Research Triangle Park, NC; Hamilton, MT; Framingham, MA; Phoenix, AZ; and Detroit, MI.
This opportunity should be of particular interest to Ggraduating seniors or recent alums (within 3 years) who are US citizens and plan to apply to graduate or professional school during their tenure at the NIH.
U-M nomination is not required for this program and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply 3-6 months before they wish to begin their training at the NIH.
