DNA Origami Exhibit Opening Reception
Presented as part of the LSA Bicentennial Theme Semester, "Michigan Horizons"
The Biophysics department is hosting a special exhibit showcasing images of unusual nanoscopic scale objects designed by students through the Biophysics DNA Origami class- a class offered as part of the LSA Bicentennial themed semester. The exhibit will be featured in the Hatcher Graduate Library gallery space (room 100), and opens with a kickoff reception this Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The event is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the general public. Refreshments will be served, and University of Michigan Associate Professor of Biophysics, Sarah Veatch, and her students will be on hand to talk about their work. Those who stop by to view the exhibit will get a visual glimpse of the future of biotechnology and cutting-edge research methods in Biophysics. The exhibit will run until January 12, 2018.
