Recent years have witnessed a tremendous growth of so-called “smart” devices and systems, for example smart phones, smart homes, and smart cars. These systems improve quality of life, but also come with security and privacy problems. Qi Alfred Chen will introduce and discuss the technology and security issues for smart devices and systems.
Videos and demonstrations will be featured. Note that meeting topics may not be limited to smart devices and systems; it can be any computer technology and security related topics of interest to the group. Anyone interested in computer technology and security is welcome.
This Study Group is for those over 50, and will meet on Mondays from May 7 - June 4.
