Supporting Nontraditional Student Success: Methods for Faculty & Staff to Serve as Advocates
This will be an interactive session for students, faculty, staff, and program administrators to discuss the emerging needs of nontraditional students at the U-M and the strategies that can be implemented to create a more welcoming, supportive, and inclusive campus climate. Participants will learn about the demographics of nontraditional students at the U-M and learn about best practices and programs to support student development.
Janice Reuben is the Staff Program Manager for CEW. She has over 15 years of experience creating and implementing staff development programs in higher education. Janice manages the Women of Color Task Force project and serves on the UHR Organizational Learning Career Development Advisory Group.
