Me, The “Other” World Premiere on January 15th, 2018 at 7:00 PM at The Michigan Theater in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. We set out to tell stories of differences due to prejudice, ignorance, and discrimination and found “otherness” is never one thing. From three colleges in Washtenaw County in Southeast Michigan come the narratives of twelve students whose lives are shaped by the perceptions of others and whose spell-binding stories of struggle and triumph reveal the resilience of the human spirit.
Me, the “Other” is more than a film. It is the centerpiece of a platform for creating conversations about “otherness” and about what connects us and divides us through the documentary, as well as social media, the website, short films and conversations in local communities. We hope to see you there! Watch the Trailer here. Tickets are $5.00 (No ID required). Purchase your ticket here. To learn more about the Film, click here.
