Presented By: Engineering Honors & Engagement Programs
UK Scholarships and Fellowships Info Session
Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships
What? Come learn about multiple opportunities for fully-funded graduate study in the UK. The session will discuss some of the most prestigious and famous scholarships in the world, including the Rhodes (Oxford), Gates Cambridge and Churchill (Cambridge), Marshall (any UK institution), and Mitchell (any Irish institution). However, we will also discuss UK Fulbrights and a number of institution-based scholarships (e.g. Clarendon Scholarships to Oxford).
Who Should be Interested? Graduating seniors and students who want to learn more about these opportunities for the future are welcome to attend. The Rhodes, Gates Cambridge, and Marshall Scholarships in particular are among the most academically selective opportunities and require not only a >3.7 GPA, but also an extensive resume of engagement and leadership activities. Several of these scholarships require US citizenship, but others are available to international students as well.
Deadline? Many of these opportunities require UM nomination. The UM deadline for Rhodes, Marshall, and Mitchell Scholarship is the fourth Mondayof August. Check out the ONSF website for specific deadlines for other opportunities.
