The Michigan Fashion Media Summit (MFMS) will introduce an all-encompassing fashion and media conference at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business on April 13, 2018. While many University of Michigan alumni have flourished within the fashion industry, there are few resources on campus that assist with linking students to industry professionals. The MFMS speakers include Olivia Palermo, Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger, 5M+ Followers, Gary Sheinbaum, CEO of Tommy Hilfiger Americas, Matt Guthartz, President of Steve Madden, Ben Fischman, Founder of Rue La La, Marly Grauburd, Head of International Marketing for Hearst at Marie Claire and so many more! The MFMS will provide a resume-building opportunity for students, serve as a recruitment event, explore a variety of jobs the fashion industry offers, encourage extracurricular activity within the student body, and leverage a newfound fashion industry alumni network.
