Winter 2018 Family Reading and Science: Big Changes

Family Reading and Science is a partnership between area libraries and the U-M Museum of Natural History. Each month, the program brings a different hands-on workshop to local libraries where families can engage in science together. This year, workshops will explore Big Changes as we look at how Earth, animals, and people have changed over time.

Workshop 3: Animal Adaptations and Changes—Animals are under constant pressure to adapt. These adaptations create amazing diversity and resilience. Learn how animals change to survive in this ever-changing world.

Please contact these participating libraries for specific dates and times: Belleville
Area District Library, Detroit Children’s Library, and the Bacon Memorial District Library.

Workshops are 60 minutes long and designed for children ages 6-11 AND their parent or guardian. Participation is free.
