Reda Jaber, Director of Business Development at Gemphire Therapeutics and Partner at IncWell, will share his experience and insights in the biotech /pharma / healthcare industries and what you need to know to find a position and build a career in this sector. Gemphire is a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company based in Livonia, MI, that is committed to helping patients with cardiometabolic disorders. IncWell is an early-stage venture capital fund based in Birmingham, MI.

Reda has research experience AND business operations experience and now focuses much of his time on innovation and entrepreneurship in this fast-growing and fast-changing space. Reda has been recognized by Crain's Detroit Business and Forbes magazine asa "30 Under 30" achiever. He earned his BS, MSCR, MBA and MD from U-M and is excited to talk with current students.

· Describe the skills he gained at U-M and how he applies them in his work
· Highlight things you can do at U-M to position yourself, including social media ideas
· Identify top trends in the industry -- areas to consider for research and for conversations with mentors and recruiters
· Provide resume, cover letter, and interview tips
· Share some of the best career advice he's received
