Sometimes it can feel impossible to have a meaningful conversation about science. We have adapted techniques from the Know Us Project to engage in effective personal conversations related to science, research, and evidence-based policy. Through this training, you will learn ways to communicate with skeptical audiences and influence public opinion one conversation at a time. By engaging in honest conversations, we hope to elevate public understanding of science research and its impacts on society.

Pizza will be provided, space is limited to 25 graduate students/postdocs.
