Prof. Matthew Solomon and Ph.D. student Vincent Longo, both from the Department of Screen Arts and Cultures, will discuss their use of audiovisual pedagogies in the ongoing “reboot” of SAC 236 (Art of Film), a large lecture course. Solomon and Longo will discuss the successful implementation of audiovisual assignments in place of written papers as an effective means of assessing course outcomes while leveraging student creativity.
