Saturday Sampler Tour | Highlights of the Kelsey Museum
Congratulations to the Class of 2018! If you are exploring campus during graduation weekend, join us for a tour of highlights of the Kelsey Museum including a Roman dining room from the Villa of the Mysteries in Pompeii, the mummy coffin of Djehutymose, 4,000 year old cuneiform tablets, and elegant Greek vases. We will also take a look at the special exhibition, "Excavating Archaeology @ U-M: 1817-2017" to learn more about the development of archaeology as a discipline at the University.
Saturday Sampler tours are free and open to all visitors. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend this tour, please contact the education office (734-647-4167) at least two weeks in advance. We ask for advance notice as some accommodations may require more time for the University to arrange.
