Saturday Sampler Tour | Greek Mythology in Art and Artifact
Once you start to look closely, you’ll be amazed at how many Kelsey artifacts are decorated with heroes, gods, goddesses, and mythological creatures. On this tour, we explore a selection of artifacts painted with mythological scenes such as Hercules fighting the Amazons, a centaur wielding a whole tree in battle, and dancing satyrs.
Saturday Sampler tours are free and open to all visitors. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend this tour, please contact the education office (734-647-4167) at least two weeks in advance. We ask for advance notice as some accommodations may require more time for the University to arrange.
