Managing Conflict Effectively Workshop
Reese Havlatka, Assistant Director of OSCR
Engineering Graduate Students are invited to register by 8/1, at https://goo.gl/forms/jMkbBjD5Md63nDQ62.
Whether with group project members, advisors, or other students, graduate students will experience conflict during their time in grad school. The question is not how to avoid conflict, but rather how to resolve and transform conflicts effectively. Learn tips, tools, and frameworks from campus conflict experts on how to constructively manage conflicts when they arise. Topics covered will include conflict styles, communication techniques, and best practices in resolving conflicts. This workshop is being presented by U-M's Office of Student Conflict Resolution, which also provides free conflict resolution services to University of Michigan students experiencing a wide range of conflicts. Sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs. For more information, email ajrose@umich.edu.
