IKEA Shopping Trip for New International Graduate/Professional Students
Join us for a day of shopping at one of the most popular stores around. IKEA is one big store filled with thousands of items for kitchen, living or bedrooms, and more. The store covers 311,000 square feet, of home furnishings.
Though you can store small to medium size items you buy in the baggage compartment of the bus for the trip back to Ann Arbor, remember you will have to transport anything you buy home from the meeting location on campus so try to limit your items and be aware of the size of the things you buy to leave space for others. Depending on the time of the day, the lines at Ikea for check-out and delivery service might be long so be sure to give yourself plenty time. If you miss the bus at Ikea, you will have to find a taxi to get back to campus on your own.
This event is co-sponsored by IKEA.
