Purpose:
The purpose of the Mi Excel Statewide Field Team Blueprint Job Fair 2018 is to connect passionate educators with courageous school districts committed to“disrupting the status quo to save the lives of children.” (Chandler & Frank, 2015)
Applicant Guidelines:
Please indicate your interest inattending the Blueprint Job Fair 2018 by completing the Candidate Registration Form, or RSVP to this event invitation. Pre-registration is prefered but not required. Candidates who do not pre-register will be asked to doso the day of the event prior to meeting with districts.
Other Information:
Registration will require candidates to upload electronic copies of the following documents:
What is Required:
Letter of introduction
Resume
List of at least three (3) professional references
Optional Items:
Most recent final evaluation summary
Evidence of student growth
Student assessment data
PBIS and/or MTSS intervention results
Other:
Professional dress is encouraged as there will be opportunities to interview for open positions. Applicants will have access to wifi, a business center, and a room to prepare for interviews and complete district-specific paperwork. There are several restaurants in the area for candidates to getlunch prior to scheduled interviews.
Schedule of Events:
9:00 AM Employer registration
9:45 AM Applicant registration begins
10:00 AM-12:00 PM Networking and screening conversations
1:00 PM-4:00 PM Scheduled On-site interviews
From 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM applicants and employers will have an opportunity to interact and discuss open positions. Based on these conversations, applicants may be invited to participate in scheduled interviews from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
Participating Districts:
Applicants areencouraged to research districts prior to attending the job fair. District-specific applications can be completed prior to the event or applicants can bring an electronic device to the job fair for completing district-specific applications if requested.
