Sunday Drop-In Tour | Daily Life in Karanis, Egypt
Francis Kelsey's commitment to learning and teaching about daily life in the ancient world inspired his interest in excavations at the site of Karanis, Egypt. On this guided tour, take a closer look at artifacts that might not be considered out of place in your own home like sandals, cooking pots, doors, pens, and children's toys.
Drop-In Tours are free and open to all visitors. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend this tour, please contact the education office (734-647-4167) at least two weeks in advance. We ask for advance notice as some accommodations may require more time for the University to arrange.
