Wang Bing is an artist working at the forefront of the recent energetic movement in documentary filmmaking originating from China. Please join Mr. Wang and UM Professor Markus Nornes for a discussion of his video, Crude Oil, an 840-minute observation of oil workers in Qinghai Province. This work will be exhibited in the lower level of the University of Michigan Work Gallery (306 S. State Street) from March 11 through April 1.
