This semester, the Jewish Communal Leadership Program is inviting the broader community to join in a compelling discussion series planned for four Wednesday evenings in the month of March. A stunning array of national Jewish thought leaders will be in Ann Arbor to engage with UM students and the broader SE Michigan community, discussing issues that cut to the heart of the critical challenges and opportunities defining today’s American Jewish community.



Unless otherwise noted, all events will take place in the Educational Conference Center at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, 1080 South University Avenue, Ann Arbor. Dessert will be served. “Communal Conversations, 21st-Century Jewish Community and Identity: Education, Practice, Transformation” is presented with the support of the Covenant Foundation. The schedule is as follows:

“Innovation, Agitation, and the Transformation of Jewish Life”



March 30, 7-9 PM: Nigel Savage, Executive Director, Hazon

“The New Jewish Food Movement and the Art of Bicycle Maintenance”
