Global Learning Series -- A Northwood Resident Cultural Exchange
People from all over the world are living at the University of Michigan campus. Take this opportunity to expand your knowledge about different countries, cultures, and societies!
In this presentation, Peter Gergics, a Northwood resident, will discuss many aspects of the history and culture of Hungary including geography, history, language, famous Hungarians in science, music, sports, as well as unique Hungarian products/animals that you have most likely never heard about!
Upcoming presentations in the series will feature: Reunion Island (3/10), and Egypt (3/17), and Estonia (3/24).
All presentations will be held at the Northwood Community Center at 1000 McIntyre Dr.
ARRIVING BY BUS? From direction of central campus, take the NORTHWOOD Blue Bus to the NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY CENTER. From the direction of Northwood V, take the NORTHWOOD Blue Bus three stops, and walk up the hill to the COMMUNITY CENTER.
