Chicago Immersion: Visit Energy BBDO, Golin and FCB!
APPLICATIONS WILL OPEN ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH AND CLOSE ONFRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH!
Want to experience Chicago? Spend two days inChicago visiting advertising companies Energy BBDO, Golin and FCB!
This Immersion experience allows students to meet with various staff at each location, learn about different internships/jobs/graduate programs within different industries, and put your knowledge to the test in interactive activities. This is a great experience for students wanting to learn about what it's like to work in Advertising & live in the Chicago area!
Previous attendees have said that - "I loved getting to know more about these amazing companies in such an intimate setting!" "Looking forward tothe next one!" "Super informative experience that allowed me to get a glimpse of real world work experiences. It was fun getting to see the city on the way!"
Applications will open on Monday, September 17th and close on Friday, September 28th. Priority will be given to students that submit their application early. Don't wait - slots fill quickly & the application may close early! Please note that by applying to this Immersion you are agreeing to attend should you be selected.

AGENDA FOR THE TRIP
Monday, October 15th
- 8:00 AM EST: Students arrive to the Student Activities Building for the bus ride to Chicago (this is included in the Immersion, and it is mandatory for students to travel with the group)
- 12:00 PM CST: Arrive in Chicago
- 1:00 PM CST: Visit Energy BBDO
- 4:00 PM CST: Immersion ends. You are free to explore the city!
Tuesday, October 16th
- 8:00 AM CST: Visit Golin
- 12:00 PM CST: Visit FCB
- 3:00 PM CST: Bus leaves Chicago (this is included in the Immersion, and it is mandatory for students to travel with the group)
- 9:00 PMEST: Arrive in Ann Arbor

By applying for this Immersion, you are confirming your ability to attend this event should you be selected. Students will be notified if they have been selected or have been placed on the waitlist by Monday, October 1st. Students must be able to attend the full program in Chicago to participate. University Career Centerstaff will be along with you on the Immersion to guide you through the days, and more details will be provided to the selected participants. Transportation is provided for students to and from Chicago and students will be responsible for meals & lodging. If the expense is a concern, please contact uccemp@umich.edu to discuss other options! Students are advised to bring 3 copies of their updated resume to the event.
