Lea Foushee, author and activist
Lea Foushee, activist for environmental justice, editor of the book Sacred Water, and co-founder of the North American Water Office, will talk about her recent publication. In the book, she and a group Anishinaabe (Ojibwe / Odawa / Potawatomi) elders combined stories and science to teach the spiritual and cultural context of water in all our lives including the sacred creation and role of water in our lives, the disruption of water health, and the impact of development on the eco-system as a whole.
