This is for you if:
You want to learn more about what it's like to work in PR/Marketing/Advertising
You want to practice your team-building and presentation skills
You want to have fun whilelearning about working in PR and how to get your clients message in frontof the right audience
You're looking for a way to connect with an employer for the first time
You're not sure what you're most interestedin and want to try something out
You're creative, and love coming up with awesome ideas
Here's how Employer Challenges work:
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND 1:00pm-2:00pm time has been updated
- BLASTmedia reps will be sharing information on their organization and provide an overview on the Employer Challenge
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD-THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH (during the week on your own time)
- Students teams will develop a 5 minutepitch that addresses BLASTmedia's challenge (scheduling times that works best for your group!)
- Mid-week, teams will have the opportunity to askquestions of the BLASTmedia employees and get feedback on their presentation
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH (time slots will be scheduled between 10:00am-3:00pm)
- Student teams will give their 5 minute pitch to the BLASTmediareps at the University Career Center!
- Teams will receive feedback on the content of the presentation, creativity, and overall presentation skills
- Resumes of participating students will be forwarded to the BLASTmedia team

Students will be able toapply as a team of 2-4 people; or individuals can apply and be placed ona team by the University Career Center. Students must apply and be accepted for this opportunity in order to participate. This application will close on Tuesday, October 30th and students will be notified if they have been accepted to participate by Tuesday, October 30th. Please apply early as we will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis. If we receive a large number of applications, we may need to close the application early.
