"Around the U: Perspectives of Identities" is an opportunity for the campus to hear different perspectives from a multitude of different identities from a panel of esteemed students. It will be an open discussion where the audience can chime in or ask questions as well, in a format similar to ESPN's "Around the Horn." Panelists will include students identifying with the following communities: Hispanic, Black, Muslim, Indian, East Asian, Homosexual, Greek and Athletic. The purpose of the event is to facilitate dialogue and synergy among all student identities at this university in an effort to offer knowledge and eradicate stereotypes. ALL STUDENTS, FACULTY & STAFF ARE WELCOME. Dean Blake Jones will be attending and Chris Armstrong and Dorian Shaw will be some of our more notable panelists.

Food will be served at the reception following the event, where DJ Ja-Red will be providing the ambiance.
