Engaging the Humanities from the Inside
Institute for the Humanities Annual Spring Seminar
Featuring a single presenter, award-winning scholar and poet Linda Gregerson, the seminar will be a journey in which Gregerson takes seminar participants into her process: How, from the intensities of world and experience, the beauties of art, and the legacies of scholarly and literary writing, does she discipline her imagination to the making of her poetry? What constitutes expertise? How is individual voice achieved through the assimilation of intensities of the past? This seminar will allow participants to explore answers to these questions through a sustained encounter with a master of writing. Includes Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and Saturday lunch.
Cost
- $200 before May 6; $225 after May 6
