Not For Sale

Promoting Awareness of Human Trafficking and Other Indignities Women Face Around the World.

Mosaic Church is passionate about social justice and on May 6th at
6:30, this church will put on “Not For Sale”, a free event that will be promoting awareness of human trafficking and other indignities
women face around the world. They will also offer opportunities
to help fight against these widespread injustices. You will hear
Becky McDonald founder of WAR (Women at Risk) International talk
about her passion for starting the organization that rescues women
around the world and teaches them skills that will allow them to
make a new life for themselves.

Hear from Dr. Shephard who gave up the American dream to
serve in Nigeria and help women who are dying from curable
medical complications. Last year over 60,000 women died due
to complications in pregnancy. Thousands more were discarded
because they were deemed an inconvenience. Millions of women around the world are looking for a voice that will stand up against these injustices. Find out why Mosaic is targeting such issues. Also, learn how you can bring freedom, dignity and
hope to women around the world.

Do all this while listening to live Jazz, enjoying hors d’oeuvres and
dessert and visually experiencing what it might look like for the
women who are being trafficked as “Voice for the Hopeless” puts
together a room display you can walk through. Afterward you
can buy jewelry made by rescued women, who receive 100% of the
proceeds to build lives free from bondage.
