The speaker for this CBSSM seminar is Dr. Ray De Vries, who is a Professor holding a joint appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gyncology and the Department of Medical Education at U-M; he is also a Professor of Midwifery Science at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. He is interested in the regulation of science; clinical trials of genetic therapies and deep brain stimulation; international research ethics; and the social, ethical, and policy issues associated with voluntary cesarian section.
