This panel discussion will include: Sherry H. Day, OD, FAAO, Kellogg Eye
Center, who will present an overview of visual problems; Karen Murphy,
OTR, Kellogg Eye Center, who will discuss hints for improving vision
through occupational therapy; LuAnne Bullington, a local resident with
a visual impairment who will tell her personal story, and Gerald Rickert
VIST (Visual Impairment Services Team), VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, who
has been blind since the age of 17 and has, for the last 20 years, instructed
visually impaired people on the use of adaptive technology.
