May is Healthy Vision Month! Learn about the importance of vision care and
have your vision screened. Vision screenings are available for babies
through seniors on a drop-in basis from 1:15 - 4 PM.
Informational resources will be available. Other information sessions include:
1 PM: Dr. John Barletta, Huron Ophthalmology, PC, will speak
about the importance of vision care for all ages
2 PM: Madison and Malia Read Their Book, “The Blind Porcupine”
These eleven-year-old twin sisters are cornea transplant recipients,
thanks to cornea tissue donors and the efforts of the Michigan Eye-
Bank. They wrote their book as a thank you to the Eye-Bank.
3 PM: Meet Paws With A Cause ®! Meet a puppy who is in advanced
training to become a service dog who will assist people with disabilities
and provide support for independence.
Cosponsored by the Ann Arbor Host Lions Club, Michigan Eye-Bank,
