UUAP and Sigma Lambda Gamma are collaborating to bring you the film "La vendedora de rosas". Refreshments will be provided, and a discussion will follow the film screening.

"La vendedora de rosas" is a Colombian film about the life of children who are forced to live their lives on the streets. They sell flowers to people who have the money, as this is there only way of supporting themselves. The film shows the violations of basic human rights. By showing this film we hope to bring awareness to the community on campus to these sufferings in hopes that it will draw support and open-mindedness when it comes to human rights issues.
