Time: 7:00 PM-9:00 PM

Location: Ross Academic Center, 2nd Floor, 1110 South State Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104, USA

Parking behind Ross Academic Center 1110 S. State St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104Google Directions/Map From Detroit Metro Airport and points east: Take I-94 west to State Street (exit 177). Turn right. Travel north approximately 2 1/4 miles through two stoplights. Turn left just past Yost Ice Arena into parking lot.From Chicago and points west: Take I-94 east to State Street (exit177). Turn left. Travel north approximately 2 1/4 miles through three stoplights. Turn left just past Yost Ice Arena into parking lot.From Toledo and points south: Take U.S. 23 north to I-94 west. Follow directions from Detroit Metro Airport.From Flint and points north: Take U.S. 23 south to I-94 west. Follow directions from Detroit Metro Airport.



What to Expect at the
Summer Jobs Fair


Fair includes internship and/or full-time
opportunities. 26 different organizations in one evening
coming to see you!



Fair is open to all student-athletes from all
schools/colleges. Typically 30+ organizations are interested
in all majors.


The
Summer Jobs Fair is a first step. You will have aplan for next steps for each organization:

Registration

Registration is
through Handshake and on-site the day of
the event.  Bring yourstudent ID

What to Wear

Fair dress is business
professional or business casual. This means:
Masculine:  dress slacks and shirt/tie or a business suit
Feminine: dress slacks/skirt and blouse or business suit

What to Bring


Copies of your resume…plus a few extra for
organizations you weren’t planning to meet.
A folder for carrying your resumes and
any informational materials from organizations.
No needto bring a cover letter.


Tips from Students

Fair can be a bit
overwhelming.  Use this tips from students to make the most of each day:


Be prepared to ask specific questions of
different recruiters based on the research you've done on
their company"
"Go in with a game plan because
the long lines can be disorienting"
"Remember people's names from the companies you
are interested in.  It will make it easier to follow up with
them in the future
"I would have been less stressed out if I
was more organized"
"Come prepared and knowing what position(s) you
are interested in.  Most importantly, be able to explain why
you're interested in it"
