In this panel discussion attendees will learn about the range of positive and negative academic experiences encountered by members of our community in relation to their social identities (including but not limited to socioeconomic status, language, culture, national origin, race, ethnicity, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, religious commitments, age, (dis)ability status, and political perspective). The faculty and grad student panel will speak briefly about their perspectives followed by a Q&A with the audience. All members of the department are welcome and encouraged to attend.
